Recently a number of consultation leaflets were sent to all NPC members and all other schools on the public consultation process which is part of the Minister's Action Plan in response to the report of the Advisory Group to the Forum on Patronage and Pluralism in the Primary Sector.

The purpose of the Parents’ Association is to provide a structure through which the parents /guardians of pupils of Ballintemple National School can work together for the best possible education for their children. In Ballintemple N.S. we encourage active participation from all the parents/guardians of the children in the school. New members are always welcome. We would be delighted with your help in running the events and activities organised throughout the school year.
The Parents’ Association AGM is usually held during the first term of the school year. All parents are invited. This is a great forum for parents to meet and exchange ideas. Educational research on the involvement of parents in schools shows that children achieve higher levels when parents and teachers work together.
The Parents’ Association works with the Principal, staff and Board of Management to build effective partnership between home and school. Partnership between home and the school is important because with positive and active partnership your child gets the best that primary education can offer.
