| Based in Ballintemple village, Enable Ireland provides a wide range of free services for up to 150 children and adults daily,and over 800 outpatients with physical disability and has been doing so for nearly fifty years. |

Enable Ireland helps and supports people with physical disabilities. It provides diagnosis, assessment and treatment programmes for babies, children and adults with a range of physical disabilities such as Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida and Muscular Dystrophy.
The Centre also offers a number of "Quality of Life Development Programmes" which include - Home Management, Communications, Literacy and Numeracy, Computer Skills, Personal Development, Catering, Arts & Crafts and Social & Cultural Studies.
Also
based at Enable Ireland is the national school "School
of the Divine Child" which caters for 37 pupils with physical disabilities,ranging
in age from 5 to 18.
Other facilities at Enable Ireland, Ballintemple are a hydrotherapy
pool and a respite centre. A respite centre
is a place where people go to have a rest and to take a break from their normal
surrounds.The respite facility opened in 1997.
