Chess has been played in our school for over ten years. As well as class leagues, we hold an annual knock-out competition, which is eagerly awaited by pupils from

Finalists - Alan agus Dylan

Alan Courtney and Dylan West emerged from a record 64 entrants, drawn from rang 4-6, to contest Craobh na Scoile 2005. We congratulate Alan, who edged out Dylan in a gripping final, and who follows in his two older brothers' footsteps by winning the cup. Congratulations to Dylan also who made it to the final for the second year running, and indeed to all the participants.They have learned to play a game which will provide them with a hobby for life and many, many hours of enjoyment.
